Nous sommes donc passé au remontage du moteur sans changement de pièces parce que tout était en très bonne état, c’était vraiment nickel !!

J’ai voulu quand même changer quelque pièce, afin d’améliorer les performances et d’être sur qu’elle ne tombe pas en panne pour une connerie.

Donc pour les performances j’ai changer la pipe d’admission, une EDELBROCK qui va bien, j’ai changer la pompe à essence, toujours HOLLEY, et j’ai changer aussi la pompe à eau ainsi que les caches culbut.
Je reviendrai sur les caches culbut EDELBROCK un peu plus tard.

Aussi, j’ai remplacé l’embrayage qui étai rincé, par un Hays hyper renforcé, pour le carter d’huile, c’est un Moroso de plus grande capacité car nous savons bien que c’est un problème sur le Big Block.

Pour les collecteur d’échappement, j’ai gardé ceux qui était dessus, ce sont quand même des "Hooker super compétition", je me suis contenté de les sabler et de mettre une couche de céramique pour limiter la propagation de la chaleur dans le compartiment moteur.

En ce qui concerne le carburateur, pareil pas de changement, juste un bon nettoyage, c’est un HOLLEY 850 CFM.
